We are primarily working on Himalayan herbs. Our forte is extraction and isolation of useful compounds from these herbs. Also, we undertake some synthesis work on these compounds to add value to them.
We are not restricted by just herbs available in the vicinity and can undertake work on herbs from other areas as well.
Namiex Chemicals has been authorised to collect Cedar wood stumps since 1995. The raw material is procured under license from Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. Cedar wood essential oil is distilled from stumps of Cedar trees. We deal in various other Cedar wood related products which are organic and natural.
Since a few years the company has focused on production of Himalayan Cedar wood oil and its derivatives. We have been exporting our products mainly to countries like U.K., Germany, Austria, U.S.A., Japan, China and Ukraine maintaining a strict quality control.
Namiex Chemicals is a small-scale industrial unit and has adequate facilities for most of the quality control requirements and some tests are done in outside laboratories. Namiex is registered with the drug licensing authorities and has license for manufacture of drugs covered under Indian Drugs & Cosmetics Act.
Our Expertise
Our expertise is in isolation and purification of phyto-chemicals. We also undertake semi-synthesis from isolated phyto-chemicals for value addition as per market requirement. We have an established network to source useful Himalayan herbs.

Our vision is to popularize quality herbal products in pharma and allied areas. We are working on various new areas in related fields to achieve our vision while being environmentally friendly. To achieve our vision, we are working on a multi-pronged basis on various fronts.
What we do
We have an extraction capacity of 20 MT per month and are adding more capacity to the tune of 100MT tones per month. Our purification and rectification capacities are 50MT per month.
Mission
Our mission is to be leaders in our field of phyto-chemicals and to develop a sustainable business model with replenishable / renewable herbal supply. Also, to ensure a good quality supply of herbal based material. We are also doing preliminary study on rejuvenation of useful herbs in the forests so that there is a consistent and reliable supply of herbs.
